Bjørnar holds an aquaculture degree from NTNU in Ålesund as well as a project manager certification from BI Porsgrunn and NTNU Ålesund. He has some 25 years of experience in the land-based aquaculture industry, primarily with the turnkey contractor Artec Aqua AS. He co-founded Artec Aqua in 2002 and sold it to Endúr ASA in 2021. Bjørnar works as the VP procurement manager at Artec Aqua and holds various positions, including one at Norinsect.
